A Private Bar in the Centre of Bournemouth
The Member's Bar has not changed in decades and still retains that old world charm. From the wooded paneling to the frosted glass and shuttered bar, it still reminds you that life can move at the slowest of paces when the world around is rushing by.
The prices of the drinks are kept deliberately low because this is not a place where the Members try to make a significant profit. This is a place to meet friends and chat about the allotment or yesterday's round of golf. or perhaps solve the world's problems.
Once a year the members are encouraged to bring their partner to the club where a lavish array of canapes, snacks and desserts are presented to them, along with magical entertainment. Our annual Mulled Wine and Mince Pies day is also for members and their partners.
You can also have a game of Backgammon or Chess or just read the daily newspaper or the monthly Golf magazine or Bowls magazine. The emphasis is on relaxing, breathing slowly and just enjoying your life!
